Check out my rating now 🙁 Complete plummet. I'll be back though, don't you get comfortable, old man!

I was being too polite to notice, but if it's any consolation you can stare up at the lofty heights I'm at and dream (you have my gracious permission). Oh, and you should have played e6 in response to 3 Bc4 that you were talking about on the M & M site!

That's not true ... None of my "top ten" were either Western nor Mafia ... Frankly, I find that both those genres have reached maximum overkill.

But I digress ...

On the lighter side, I just finished watching an excellent movie that I would like to suggest on this forum. It's called L'Auberge Espagnole ... It is neither Western nor Mafia, but it still is a very good film. It's rare that you see a film that incorporates so many different cultures in to one.

Check it out ...🙂

I haven't made the move yet but I don't know. e6, Nf6, or Nc6. I got lots of time to figure out my plan but I was wondering if there was some lines already laid out that I could look at and see if I liked. Know of any?

I shouldn't do this, but as I feel pity for those less endowed than I am (in chess skills and otherwise), I give you one of my secret weapons: http://www.chesslab.com/PositionSearch.html. Use it wisely, young Skywalker!

Why don't you also share your Fritz with me? 😉 Hehe. Thanks a bunch. And I just watched Fight Club on F/X earlier today actually. Still sucks. Your opinion is still soured by your lack of smarts and taste!

Your taste in movies still blows, but at least now there's some hope you won't drop down to 1400 anytime soon. You, of course, know only to use the Position Search feature on that site and not the Analyze feature (that's a no-no). I still make too many outright idiotic moves to be a cheat, but thanks for the flattery.

Fight Club sucked; Brad PItt sucks, except in the Mexican.

You seem to take flattery in even the smallest of comments, such as if I was to say that you were only half an idiot, you may be flattered in the sense that I have taken pity in admitting to you your complete ignorance to more or less EVERYTHING it seems. Nonetheless, your favor has made me somewhat grateful so I will continue to help you deny yourself the truth. 😉 Moving on then... Without looking back at any of the lists I don't think anyone here has mentioned the instant cult classic Scarface! "Shay hallo to my little frand!!!" Hehe... I've seen the ending maybe a dozen times now and it always gets my blood going! (even though De Palma and Stone obviously made a huge writer-director blunder by leaving out the chance of any nudity to go along with the rapid gunfire! 🙁)

I was actually considering putting Scarface in my list, but...geez! Which of those movies should I leave out, then?

Great film and did you get a chance to read the book Steve?

Another film that was pretty cool was the first Rocky. I saw it as a kid in high school and remember the theatre audience standing cheering as if it were an actual boxing match! Of course, Stallone drug that story out WAY too long. Went to the well too many times.

sorry to spoil your fun old fella, even if that just consists in spitting venom at the world while the nurse dutifully wipes the drool from your chin and the specks of foam from your lips.

just what is it i'm supposed to be chuckling about? the problem is not that i don't have a sense of humour; the problem is that you aren't funny. perhaps you are a bitter and twisted failed stand-up comic? 'That crowd was moronic. grumble grumble. they didn't even laugh when i called them idiots. curse curse. they just didn't have a sense of humour. morons! nurse! where are you? i need wiping. idiot!'

Hey how 'bout "Waiting for Ned Devine"?P.S. Garp the book was great too Frank. The film was really true to the book which doesn't happen too often.
