This really is my last post as I have already resigned the games that I can.
I find it quite bizarre the blind faith that some people appear to have in the moderators.. not an easy job.. but the key thing here is blind. Please make all evidence that does not contravene any privacy laws available regarding banning of players. Otherwise I think you will continue to see the decline in the "pleasantness" of the atmosphere in which we were playing.
Good luck all.

Clearly he did not use an engine in every game. The mods found enough wins that matches engine use to say he was cheating. Perhaps if the mods simply published a list of games that were examined and people could do their own? Right now nobody has any place to start to prove/disprove that exy was a cheat.

This is a serious allegation, and if there is any truth in it I will definately be leaving the site.
For RHP to use spyware would be wrong, and probably illegal.
Saying that I can't imagine the mods being that extreme.
Please people, this is a preposterous rumour.
I'd like to speak up on behalf of Exy. As a member of the Twin Peaks Chess club, I was able to witness firsthand, his enthusiasm for healthy competition and the promotion of a "community" atmosphere on this site. His contributions to the forums were friendly and thoughtful. In short, he was the kind of person that made people want to join this site and keep coming back. In fact, in a recent forum, he was listed among members' favorite opponents. See thread:

I find it impossible to believe that he was a computer cheat. I challenge anybody to provide evidence to the contrary. This is a sad day for Red Hot Pawn.
exy cheating "never" i have had the pleasure of playing him on several occasions and i have never yet beat him, does that make him a cheat , "no way" i have also played players who have never beaten me and they do not accuse me of cheating. now to the point> how am i ever going to beat exy if he is banned>..please see sense and recind this stupid decision. would it not be better to put this matter to a general vote????

Boris, it`s not often i agree with you on things, but i whole hearted agree with you on this one.
All i can say is that it`s a good job i`m pants at chess or i would get a ban too. Oh i did beat nyxie once and Katty. Does that mean i cheated?
But your point is true indeed, by not showing evidence you feel very uncomfortable playing here ...
