You should also check out if there are possibilities to get a scholarship. My impression is that it's often easier to get a scholarship for studying abroad than in your own country.

I'm a senior in high school, so I have a pretty good idea of how much colleges cost...a lot.

I'm paying for 3 kids in college right now and one that starts next year. I have an even BETTER idea how much they cost. Mine are averaging $19,000.00 each per year for in-State Universities. Out of state and privates are much worse. I have one in private that runs $25,000.00 per year. She got a $4,000.00/year scholarship though, so it is costing me about the same as going to a State University without scholarship.
