So yes, chances are it exists.
What I find bizarre about UFO theorists is not that I disagree that unidentified flying objects exist, but that they assume they are intelligent life from elsewhere in the universe.
I have 2 observations.
If intelligent life from elsewhere in the universe has the technology required to reach us, they have 2 choices.
1) Do so covertly, in which case none of us would know they were here.
2) Do it overtly, in which case they wouldnt be trying to avoid detection, and we would all know they were here - ie they would appear Independence Day style over a major city, leaving no interpretation as to their existence.
What the UFO believers would have us subscribe to is that 'aliens' only occasionally accidently get seen by the odd nutter in isolated parts of the world, and that they steal a small number of us for experimentation, in a way that can never be substantiated by mainstream science.
I subscribe fully to the existence of life, but not the absurd logic attached to the concept of a couple of flashing frisbies, which only get seen by a handful, and leave their mark only as a set of concentric rings in barley fields. This view I believe is held by those with a dark void in their brains which needs filling by bull****.
I didn't believe the part about medical experimentation un til I got the bill. If the experiment was for their curiosity, why should I get billed for it. Until the bill came, I thought it had just been a bad dream. Well, I am NOT paying this bill. Besides, it didn't have a stamp on it, so it isn't legal.
