The big three ...

1. flowers .. with romantic card

2. candy .. not the cheap stuff, but a nice box of chocolates.

3, dinner at her favorite place

If you forget any one of these .. you're a failure.

at least $200 to do it right.

Something only someone who knows her could come up with. Use your knowledge of her and your memories of your time together to come up with something. For example, a framed photo from a nice vacation you had together or a book about a place you went to would be a lot more personal than flowers.

Don't buy anything, try to ignore her a little bit.

If you pay a lot of attention to her, she will leave you soon.

A brotherly advice. 😉

As long as you ignore her, she will keep loving you.

valentine day is commercialised crap designed to make people go out and buy stuff. doesn't she know you love her already for gods sake? if shes a smart genuine person then you neednt worry about getting her stuff to prove anything. if shes an empty headed fool then she just want a flash present to boast about to her friends, in which case get rid of her fast 😉

I cannot believe I'm about to agree with you 😞

Valentine's Day is a crock of **** and any one who seriously needs a particular day, chocolates, flowers and silly red hearts to know how much they're loved has no romance in them at all and probably just a lot of ridiculous and culturally cancerous insecurities.

Valentines Day is not something we make a big fuss about here, so I don't know much about it. Still, one word of advise: I she says "let it be a surprise!", then she does NOT mean it.

That jar of mint flavoured rhubarb jam was one of the biggest mistakes I've made in our 16 years together.

Flowers and candy never really impressed any woman. That looks like the man stopped on the way home and bought something out of desperation.

The most romantic Valentines "card" I ever got was two years ago. My boyfriend drew a lopsided heart in Microsoft paint, wrote I Love You in the middle of it and emailed it to me. It didn't take 2 minutes to do but it meant more than any flowers or candy. It is now my computer screensaver and I get to look at it all the time.

Make her dinner, give her a back rub, rub her feet, brush her hair, seduce her.

One single rose is also nice if you don't want to walk in empty-handed.

Good luck! 😉

A rat's anus. Or, if you're lucky enough to have the resources, two.
