I would love to see this series go to 7. Beckett beats Sabathia in a duel, then Schilling comes on and outlasts Fausto in Game 6... then Dice-K comes on the mound for Game 7 and gets one last chance to redeem himself. That would be a storybook ending...

Wouldn't that mean Schilling has come full circle?

BTW, IF Cleveland ends up in the Series, whatever will Colorado do? After all everyone knows "Cleveland Rocks"😛

As a true baseball fan I think it would be a good series, but it won't get good ratings.

I don't really want him back, but I won't complain. We already have Moyer playing grandpa in the clubhouse, so we don't need schill to do that too.

As a true baseball fan, why do you care about the ratings?

It would be a victory for the "small market" teams. Proving that in a short series there is "parity" in baseball.....but not so much over a 162 games

Fair enough.

Anyway, I don't think the ratings will be as bad as you think. Colorado's winning streak is a major story right now. People will be interested...

But it was important enough to mention. What is your ulterior motive here?!

You are right 😞 It was my nice way of saying that the many dopey bandwagon yankees and sox fans of the world won't watch it because they don't care and are not good baseball fans.

disclaimer - Not talking about actual New Englanders and New Yorkers. Other people of the world. Sort of like all the stupid Dallas Cowboys fans in the world, idiots.

Phlab may be mad, but he knows I have a point. At least until these people have another teams wagon to hop on.
