I've got a couple of teeth that aches especially badly when eating/drinking hot or cold. The tooth have become extremely sensitive since yesterday. I want to protect my tooth, but I don't like going to see a dentist because I'm scared of the way they hundle tooth. I don't like the noises either...

I'd like to hear your advices please.. Anything based on your experiences would be very much appreciated.. thank you

Go to the dentist and get the problem handled by a professional

Tie your tooth with a piece of string to a doorknob, then shout your friend or family member into the room.

you will probably have to use the internet to find one of those dentist referral directories as most dentists do not have this new device...there
are two in los angeles and i go to one of them and i cannot stand the dentist and have gone 4 times and it is truly painless...the only painful
part of the dentist now is that the attendant puts oprah on the telly when
the dental work is done...boring...

Dude, in truth it sounds like an abcess, unless you have a visible hole. I'm guessing you need to go to the dentist and get it checked out.

Failing that, i know a Nigerian witch doctor who could sacrafice a small animal, and smear your body with blood in a voodoo ritual.....Is that any good to you ?

I don't think you can avoid going to the dentist. But you can try talking to friends or colleagues and ask them if they know a good dentist who is sensitive to the patients' needs and explains what xe is doing; or try to find a dentist who specialises in working with patients with dentist anxiety.

No..but if it helps you in any way I would be willing to give it a try. Are you going to stand still willingly or do I need to strap you down?
