Black Lips - Los Valientes Del Mundo Nuevo (Live in Tijuana)

Seen 'em twice and they're one of the best live shows I've seen in a long time. Chaotic, dirty, hilarious, fun, repulsive, not to mention young (all are 23 or 24). It's so beautiful. Bodily fluids, group kisses, pubic hair fires, stage nudity, vomiting, etc. This recording doesn't capture the live experience (obviously) as well as I'd hoped, but what live album does really? It's still a great intro to one of the better rock and roll bands out there right now.

This Friday - XBXRX at Sneaky Dee's. Can anyone lend me a helmet?

The week after is LCD Soundsystem. This will be my third time seeing them. Also an amazing live show!
