This is more of a callback than something I'm watching now, but I remember this from "Robin of Sherwood" with Michael Praed (about 40 years ago):

"What has been woven cannot be unwoven."

Meanwhile, I have started watching "Danger Zone" (Taiwan, 2021), a police series with some grim elements and a little humor.
In case anyone is interested, iQIYI has this for free now, and the English subtitles are pretty good. However, it does have some sick on-screen images and violence -- I can totally see why Netflix did not pick this one up, despite the fine cast and intricate plotting.

Hang on a minute. Didn’t you just see it? Wouldn’t that have been the world premiere?🤔

Now you know what the documentary is about, probably Sir David Attenborough's last film, so very important. I think it should be used in schools to make young people aware of the situation, and also the possibilities - it's much up to them to restore what we have destroyed. It is not too late!

🤞 I know I am usually a “glass half full” kinda guy…but. It’s a small “but”, so I think we can “fix” what we’ve done thus far.👍

The other day I braced myself (having previously learned about some disgusting moments from reviews) and finally watched "Saltburn".

Great cast and beautifully and creatively filmed, but still it looked a lot like "Tom Ripley visits Brideshead."

Not sure what to make of the narrative frame. Not willing to watch it again just to figure that out.
