I never understood gravity at all.
"Gravitation" is the attractive influence that all objects exert on each other, while "gravity" specifically refers to a force which all massive objects (objects with mass) are theorized to exert on each other to cause gravitation.

Lets take two objects of different size.
Lets say an apple and a paperclip.
Now we will put those somewhere in the universe where there is no influence from anything else besides those two objects. (So it must be far enough away from planets, stars, etc).
If the distance between the 2 objects is small enough then the paperclip WILL go towards the apple. It will not stay away from it / it will not go away from it.
While I can learn that this is the truth, I simply cannot understand why.

...gravity is cosmic love...that which "IS" has an eternal attraction...iS exists
thru the universe...both everywhere and locally at the same time...what we think of as gravity is the presence of IS in a local condidtion..love attracts...we call it gravity...when you leave the three
dimensions of your present earthly prison you will have the opportunity
to understand this in a knowing sense...at this point in your existence
you can only understand it rationally and in a small way...gravity is cosmic love...

I am not really familiar with "The dark matter" but I thought that it was still hypotheticall. Do you have a source, so I can find more information on it?
You also triggered me for an off topic question,
if we cannot see 98% of the universe, then how do we know, that what we can see is 2% of the total?
