@very-rusty saidFew would be well below half.
Few?......I guess that would depend on what you considered a few!
Anyone of any age can die from this killer virus. The death toll is far from over I am thinking! There was a 25 year old athlete perfect condition passed. He may have had underlying circumstances no one knew about. All the same he did appear to be in good health before and very active in sports.

Look at it this way, according to the CDC, in the US this year for people 65 and older, covid 19 deaths make up just 2 percent of all deaths.
.0015 Percent of the population 65 and older have died of covid 19.
How much luck does it take to be in the 999845 out of a million?

@eladar saidI read somewhere that most cases of the covid-19 were people between 20-64 which really surprised me..

I think that will change at least here in canada where it has hit the old folks homes, and will go right through the building. I know of one place already here in halifax with 60 cases. 28 staff and 32 residents, they have them on one floor so far, that could change as the count goes up which I expect it will.

@very-rusty saidWhy would it surprise you that the people in public would get sick. How many died?
I read it somewhere that most of the cases at one point were people from 20-64, which surprised me!!

.000145 Percent of 15 to 65 year olds have died due to covid 19.
In other words out of a million, 999985 people have not died, just 15 out of a million have died.
Gotta be very unlucky to die.
@eladar saidA bigger percentage of people between ages of 20-64 were infected. As I said in my previous post that is going to change.
Why would it surprise you that the people in public would get sick. How many died?
You see at first they were saying mostly the elderly would die, turns out that is not the case so far, but like I said now that it has gotten inside the old age homes that is going to change again.

@eladar saidNO, but thanks for letting me know that valuable information.
@Very-Rusty
You do know that getting sick and actually being killed are two different things.

@very-rusty saidGood, now look at these numbers
NO, but thanks for letting me know that valuable information.

54 and younger 996 deaths
55 and older 10360 deaths
Many more deaths are coming from the elderly population, even though many more of the sick people are younger.
@Very-Rusty
Repost in case you missed it.

@eladar saidYou probably shouldn't be doing stats until it is all over.......I don't think we are even half way there. And the younger ones die as well as the older ones do. Just hope you are one the people left standing when it is all over.

Did you hear about the 106 year old man that had it and recovered?

@Very-Rusty
You think that the ratios are going to change much?
Not surprised about the 106 year old, most people live in all age groups.
@eladar saidA lot of doctors and nurses would challenge those stats.
