I'm at East Croydon, where i've just been told that the 3.25pm to London Bridge has just been cancelled. It is currently 5.13pm

Actually, you weren't very far wrong. I caught the tube from London Bridge station (which was very packed) this evening. The mainline section of the station, the roof had collapsed, which was why it was closed.

I'm not stuck, I'm here in Scarborough and the sun is shining, skies are blue and just a gentle breeze. I consider myself very lucky on days like this.
