Tibetan Buddhist monks go about looking for the latest incarnation of the Buddha in a male child. perhaps we should conduct a similar test for the next incarnation of Jimi. though he'd probably be about 35yo by now...

we should have enough to go on: about 35yo, left-handed, plays out-of-this-world guitar...

Well, if I ever hear anything funny coming from you. Then possibly at that time I will say your criticism is justified. Until then I just see it as jealousy. Your opinion is your opinion. There have been many that have made a good living proving you wrong.

By the way is there anything funny going on in your many washing machine posts? I didn't think so.
Actually, I didn't make any claims that I am funny, or that I apply stupidity in an ironic and judicious way; I merely made claims that instances of ironic and judicious use of stupidity are funnier than instances of random, wanton stupidity. Also, your post has the following problems:

1. It contains the gem of tautological wisdom that my opinion is my opinion. Earth-shattering!

2. Well, if I ever hear anything funny coming from you. Can I get a conclusion? Can I at least get a well-formed English sentence?

3. Since I never claimed to be funny, how can my opinion be dismissed as jealousy on the basis of my posts? It sounds like you've made some pretty incredible inferences about the motivations of someone you've never met, solely from his opinion that 'Blazing Saddles' is a stupid film.

4. If I may speculate about your intention, and correct me if I am wrong, 'your opinion is your opinion' means something like the expression 'you are entitled to your opinion' in this context. If so, then how is my opinion about an aesthetic matter (what sort of stupidity is funny) 'wrong'?

5. Again, on what basis do you think I was trying to be funny with the washing machine comments? If you are going to make such accusations, you should know the full history, which is that that series of posts was actually designed to conduct a beef with Palynka in revenge for his footballing up my VERSE COMPETITION.

I put it to you that either the post I am quoting is out of character or you are a tool in the extreme.

What washing machine posts? 😕

And don't change the cause and consequence. I was the one getting my revenge at that time. And by God, was it sweet!

Did you miss all of my requests for a whale of a good time in the washing machine with Noodles, Bowmann and I? What about the two-week period when my title was 'PalynkaWrinkler'?

Ah, yes. Not a particularly inspired moment, was it?

Actually I never joined you and Palynka in the washing machine, I just watched. And I didn't know Bowmann was in there as well.

Jimi Hendrix in sept, 1970 its 36 years later and noone has suppassed his guitar playing genius and wizardry.
jimmy page may not have been as good as jimi in skill, but he came close even though hendrix was from another planet. but page was a very diverse player ranging from blues, to hard rock, to more melo stuff and hes still around today. when jimi was alive page wasnt as good. but page never reached his peak when hendrix was alive. far as im concerned page is the best out there

If you talked like this in real life, people would staple your lips to the English Dictionary.

Like I said before, all these other guys. Stevie ray, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani or any of the other great master guitarist are phenomenal. But at the time period. Hendrix was the man to copy. He copied no one. He was in a league of his own. A true pioneer. No one has pioneered a style and changed music as he did since. Unfortuatly it was just a short peroid. He was a true solo artist. He was the band. Any average drummer or base was enough. He used feedback as part of his arrangements. He introduced the fuzz and wawa. It was a hole new era of music. Others changed their styles to compete with his. The best of the best were impressed and wanted to copy what he did. I just wish I could hear more, but it will never be. SRV. Yea man, he was close. But not close enough.

I share your admiration of Hendrix but Blue Cheer and the Yardbirds beat Jimi to the wah wah and fuzz box pedals.
