Whats to stop them making it up?
If drugs are such a problem with dealers everywhere, why dont they have a sale on every now and again, to attract new custom?
Occasionally, your local area may have a drought/bounty that effects local prices but overall the prices are controlled by a few interested parties.

Originally posted by shavixmirI should have pointed out that the fact that drugs are addictive (well some) means that demand is inelastic, that is not correlated to price.
Basically...
People who keep drugs illegal.
People who catch large shipments of drugs.
Addicts
Your government.
Give or take a factor...
Shav has pretty much nailed it though.
Originally posted by WoodgieI've seen a general decrease in all drug prices over the last 10 years. A clear indication the "war on drugs" is lost. Perhaps they shouldn't have thought of it as a "war" in the first place, perhaps something a little more sane such as "support" may have been better....Still, as long as we can all get stoned whenever we feel like it, i suppose no harm was done.
