There is a simple way.

Dont worry
Strive for homeostasis. Live in the middle ground.

What goes down, will come up and what goes up, will come down.
(As evidenced by alcohol hangover and drug withdrawal.)

Same goes for most people.
But lately you are continuously courting conflict.

I told you about 6months ago that I met the girl of my dreams but she was with another guy. I said I would conjure her into my life. # months ago she broke up with that guy, and 2 weeks ago we started talking and getting to know each other.

Now if you can remember some little inane post from 6months ago then surely you can remember that.

I told you I would get tha ...[text shortened]... o you.

So, with that firmly in mind, feel free to do what you want but cross me at your own peril
Indeed sir. As I recall that 'other guy' was a friend of yours.

Lovely.

I have an efficient regime in place these days to minimize stress and maintain a good mental health. (Thankfully this doesn't include medication, which should always be a last resort for anybody, though undoubtedly for some is a lifesaver).

Fine so long as you don't have any serious medical conditions. Enjoy your health while your can, eventually and unfortunately that day comes for everyone.

True old chap, though I was speaking specifically about medication to manage stress/anxiety.

For a while I managed my insomnia with tablets, but they had a similar 'foggy' side effect the following day. Not nice.

When I have trouble falling asleep, I wash down a single 5mg tablet of melatonin with a small beaker of warm chamomile tea.

The all-natural remedy allows me to wake with clarity and full refreshment.

and is there something better?
If you drink quite a bit, it can deplete your body's stores of b vitamins, which can cause anxiety and stress. Get a vitamin b supplement or just eat some marmite toast.

I was never a big drinker but for a while I abstained from it because it made me feel terrible the next day.
