Why can't we live on a flat Earth anyway?

Why can't we live on a flat Earth anyway?

General

Dam round planet! I am at work and have to wait 3 frigging hours to get hold of the left coast. If we lived on a flat Earth we would all have the same time zone. Anything we can do about that?

Just choose to believe the planet is flat.

No. But even if we could make the earth flat, there wouldn't be enough gravitational attraction to hold anything down for very long. Maybe you could insist on everyone adjusting their work schedule to match yours... that would be (a wee bit) more realistic than trying to flatten the earth

That's for pitching out round-earth heretics.

Steamroller would do it. Or you could ask the groundsman at The Oval.

How 'bout we all head for the Northern most part of Mother Earth and just start jumping. We may be able to flatten her.

Well, we could populate Antarctica close to the south pole.
