A friend of mine has Windows Vista and wanteed a third party firewall installing. I've tried trawling The Interenet to no avail. I even found one web site that said there is no such thing as a true firewall for Vista. Is this correct? Is Windows Vista firewall up to scratch?
God knows.
Heeeelp.
Cheers
Jim.

Zone alarm makes Vista lock up and misbehaves badly with it, even though it purports to be compatible. Agnitum Outpost does not have a Vist compatible version out yet. Phoooeee. 😛

Don't really know how Comodo works on Vista, but it's been good on XP so
far (I've had it a few months on my work computer).

It's a Virgin Media : E08C007. I read on a forum that it is a modem and not a router and therefore does not require any port forwarding. Other than that not much mention of it online.

It's not ready yet. If you register with 'em, they'll email you when Vista version is ready. (Comodo)

I've been told this is a good one for Vista. [I tried it on XP a while ago and it was ok]
