The post that was quoted here has been removedI enjoy and have tested many beers but the only one I bought that I tried and couldn't get down the gullet was a St Peters. I don't recollect the name but it came in , what looked like an old medicine bottle (Blue I think) and may have been a fruit beer.
The post that was quoted here has been removedIf I can "get my hands" on a bottle I'd love to give it a try. Most of the domestic (large) breweries over here produce beers that really do all taste the same (bland). It's the little independant ones that, at least try to, give us something with a different taste and there are some that do so with success.
Originally posted by phil3000I like Leffe, great beer, but needs to be taken slowly and in small doses otherwise the evening goes pear shaped very early. I prefer to lose the plot closer to closing time. heh.
I have tried ..Innis & Gunn. Excellent beer could get attached to that one but the creme da la creme must be Leffe [blonde]...10 out of 10

Like the other beer lovers here, I have a tendency to zone in on one or another beer for a short period of time, and then move on to the 'next best thing,' as it were.
However, either my reactions are slowing down, or I have truly happened upon the holy grail of breweries. After discovering these guys' beer well over two years ago, I have yet to grow tired of even their usual fare.
Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales out of Delaware are making some of the best beers I have ever had the pleasure of sipping. Ease into it, though, or you'll be overwhelmed. Start off with the 60-minute IPA, then move on to their 90-minute or Midas Touch prior to going for the 120-minute, or their Palo Santo Marron (my personal favorite).
This is the beer that brew masters long to have their beer be like.
