Any thoughts? I'm personally not sure, the Ring was pretty bad, so was attack of the clones. Anyone else?
2001: A Space Odyessy.
Hailed as one of the greatest films of all time but - nothing happened! And all that nothing happened very very slowly. A horrendously dull film IMHO.
Not nearly as bad as Blair Witch though - an hour and a half of footage of a forest floor, interspersed with shots of a very snotty nose.
Yeeees - top quality entertainment that...
I agree with Sunhouse...Deathrace 3000 is pathetic. But I like it cause it is so bad.
how about Plan 9 from outerspace?
I would also nominate the Titanic...watchin a ship sind for three hours is pretty boring.
Also include Xanadu....Olivia Newton John on Rollerskate for two hours...gag me with a spoon even...
I nominate "bodyguard". bleh. *shudders*
the worst recent movie I saw was that one with J. Lo and Jane fonda. Now I may be biased because I have an aversion to Jennifer Lopez, but just about the only funny part (and this was meant to be a comedy) was when the guy said "I like you because you're so honest, so natural" to J Lo and the entire audience burst out laughing. Well and I did kinda enjoy Jane Fonda slagging J Lo off, but that pleasure was revoked by the ridiculously sloppy hollywood-happy ending. *gag* I can't remember what made me watch it in the first place, because I knew I wouldn't like it...
Oh and I thought of the worst movie ever. Worse than the 2 above combined. You can all pack your things and leave, I have the winner:
SPICEGIRLS-the movie
now please, show me something that can beat that. Do I hear silence? 😀

The Blair witch project. Worst movie ever made.
An extraordinary box office success, this looks and sounds like the amateur movie it's meant to be, yet somehow, with its horrors never quite seen, scared audiences the world over, so well-faked was its feeling of reality.
Originally posted by jimmyb270I'm not wholly with you in this but I tend to agree. It's grossly over-rated. I sat through the whole thing as a 15 year old and left underwhelmed. Yes, it was interesting. but that was it. The ending with the obelisk and chimps/apemen was just stupid. I didn't understand the deathbed scene and still don't.
