If a society condones capital punishment it would surely condone wife beating. Therefore, we get rid of capital punishment for murder and people stop murdering and we get rid of punishment for wife beating and wife beatings are reduced . Now i get it, or maybe it's because my Haldol is wearing off.

I can only think, that according to Paly, murderers want to be killed, by the state,for their crime. If there's No death penalty they won't commit murder.
