There are 2 game mods that feel a game like that should be unrated to avoid what is going on.

As even as the position might be, I don't expect perfect play from a 1500 player.

So you agree with mass resignations in order to win lower banded tournaments?

Is that what you are accusing seadevil of?

I think that's a little unfair Cash.

He has a torch in one hand and a pitchfork in the other and you expect him to use a whip as well.

The influence this has on both players rating is nil compared to what mass timeouts do, when a player can't access internet for a long while and their rating crashes. Worry about that instead!

That is too much to ask, he is too busy looking for needles in haystacks.

Yeah well, maybe you are right. But still, seadevil is just really getting lazy you know. Someone needs to crack the whip on the guy, make him work harder, win more games. Draw none, he is too soft needs to be more blood thirsty. He can't see the board right, when the love of his child gets in his brain. So the mods have to beat him down.

LOL.. you did right 🙂 .. this is too much...

That idiot pretends you did something wrong by posting this "P"M but he seems to think it is ok to talk about a game in a public forum and insinuate stuff regarding the players without notifying them.
Yes, you're right; talking about a chess game in the Chess Forum is totally improper.

Look, games like this should be played unrated. Find another game where seadevil resigns to a 1500 player.

Would seadevil have given you the draw? Me? If the answer is NO, those games should be unrated with the kid.

I'm not trying to burn a barn here, I'm just giving my opinion that is obviously shared by other players on this site.

Again, comparing 2 things doesn't mean a thing. Let's compare Exxon Valdez oil spill to someone pissing in your well... or shoplifting candy to bank robbery. One being worse than the other doesn't make the other one alright.

Have you ever resigned a game to a lower rated player? Find a game where any other player played a family member and resigned. Put the rule in the TOS. You can't play a rated game with a family member especially if you are a 1500 player.

I don't know what he would have done, I have never asked him for a draw. I doubt it, but that really is none of my business. He should have the right to resign any time he wants. How about a game Phlab. Are you up for it?

You are entitled to an opinion, and so am I, along with those who share the same opinion as I do on this site. I just happen to disagree with you in this case is all. Opinions are like A holes, everybody has one.

I agree with you, but your example has nothing to do with chess or the rent he has paid. It also has nothing to do with being allowed to play his own game as he sees fit.
