Maybe the reason that the same old points get repeated again and again is because lots of players worry about the problem.
I put quite a lot of effort into my games (though not as much as before I found out a couple of my opponents were using engines) and it annoys the snot out of me when I discover that I've been playing Fritz / Crafty or whatever. I jo ...[text shortened]... ing behind the scenes, and I think something similar would be hugely beneficial to this site.

LOL - I have small cheapy computer chess board back at home, I never beat it. But this one time I had a totally winning game, a good 3 hours into it, the bloody batteries went! I was tormented for weeks, never played it again!

When I was a kid, my father had a "talking" chess game/ board named "Boris" who would trash talk durin the match, same thing happened to him, as he was about to beat it the batteries went, one of the first times i remember him swearing.
