    Game 1853965

This game is a little bit amusing. I blunder a piece on move 13, sacrifice material willy nilly in an attempt to end the game quickly, and then, right when I'm about to resign, he beats me to it.

Here's a puzzle: what's the correct result in the final position?

I still managed to make a huge blunder in the game, which nearly cost me the win. Can you spot it?

Nope. If he captured the pawn, I could have chased his king with my queen back towards my own pieces.

I played the ruy lopez and fell for the noah's ark trap,
so I was a bishop down from the start, sacced the bishop on f7
and held on for dear life...

The thing is - the game came down to King vs King, and it was drawn,
not another piece on the board. A great fight if I may say so!

When a game comes down to KVK there should be reinforcements like extra pawns you can place on your 2nd rank... I think it would be neat

Not to appear to be beating up on kwgoodwin but I've got a nice miniture against him and another good game and he is one of the few top players I've beaten here.

Game 1456758 The power of research won me this game. White needed to play 18. Qa3N (yes I was still in book at this point) to remain in the game. [18. Qa3 Qxa3+ 19. Kxa3 Nxc3 and white must give up at least the bishop pair = ]. The text move is an interesting set of tactics that get sprung all at once.

Game 1456745 I was quite proud of 15. f3N and the execution of the attack against the castled king.

Just to put things in perspective my record against kwgoodwin is +2 =5 -7.

Game 2250843 My vastly superior opponent simply annihilated me in the other match, but forgot to play Nxe5 before striking at a flank pawn in this one - the locked board moated his attackers out of his King's defence.
