even though the admins "technically" state that abuse of the vacation option is against the rules, it seems like they allow it as a means to drive subscriptions. in other words, it would be an easy problem to fix - you should only be allowed to engage it a certain number of times, within limits (people don't go on vacation THAT often). however, the site ...[text shortened]... cribers. it makes business sense if nothing else. if you have the option, why not use it?

I guess the game does have my attention somwhat, but the drama between the two players in the first 4 pages was pretty good when it first came out.

Be patient. When Black starts playing and moves every ten or more days then you can say that he is slowing the game down. Black wanted a slow time (fourteen days pluss) and White wanted a fast time (one day no time bank). White was unreasonable in not compromising with a minimum of a seven day no time bank game.
