What do you guys think of Game 8795618. It's still underway, so I guess it's inappropriate to comment, but the fact that it's still underway is kind the issue.
I just don't understand what is happening. Both players are taking near the maximum amount of time allowed per move and playing ad infinitum.
Which is certainly their prerogative, but it does seem a little disrespectful of the rest of the people in the tournament (of which I am one)

I don't know. They seem to be acting in the rules, but it just rubs me the wrong way.

He won't resign.
Zenic has over 500 game on the go, often he likes to keep them on the go.
Quite a few times he has tripped up and stalemated his opponent.
Also he may not be ready to finish this tourney to take on another batch of
games.
I fully understand the annoyance but what can you do?
I had to wait 2 months for one player to finish his RHP Rd1 Ch game.
I was going to do a full final table but the waiting just scunnered me.
But what can you do?

If someone post something and another user uses that post in the quote box and
the original post gets deleted by a mod then the copied quote also get deleted.
It must have been pretty grim for it to get deleted.
RJ should have been sent a PM telling him why and a possible warning.

P.S. I do agree with Duchess64 that it seems strange that my post was removed just because it was taken as an implied accusation against Duchess64 for cheating. I do not recall any of the posts that accused me of cheating with a computer engine in the past being removed, even though data on percentage of maching moves were being posted, while I denied the allegations. I believe it might have had something to do with the fact that I am an obnoxious Christian from the hated USA. 😏

The post that was quoted here has been removedYes, I was referring to correspondence chess and not over the board chess. In my view, in over the board chess, one is not being rude and insulting by playing on in a "lost" position if one's opponent is running out of time. In over the board chess, time is often as much (or even more of a factor) than position; in over the board chess, one is not "lost", no matter how bad the position if one's opponent's clock is about to fall.

Perhaps I was lashing out at you as a convenient target, because everyone had accused me of being a liar and cheat. I know nothing about your games and as far as I know you have NEVER cheated on RHP. Will you please accept my apology?
