Yes, just a request on page 1, post #10 not to do it.

Of course if this were turn based then none of this would have happened.
I don't think the game would have died - we have regular logger oners.

Rule #10 is open to interpretation and is not clear.

Turn-basing isn't going to stop people from posting analysis. That can only be done on the honor system.

Rule #101. Turn-based, make your move and no comments at all.

That would have been much clearer.

Black to move. Can we continue? No more talking about the game.

Agreed.

If I may add my 2 cents (I'm white). The whole idea of multiplayer is that your teammates may or may not have the same ideas as you, and they may not even know why you made a certain move.

A 2100 player might make a brilliant move that gets completely messed up by a 1621 player. Fun! 🙂

That was my understanding, too, so that a game might lurch from won to lost and back again several times. The ongoing chatter is amusing, but some of the commentary has been close to kibitzing and tends to defeat the purpose. How about a post-mortem with comments or analysis by those who made the moves, explaining what they understood of the position and what they thought their teammates were up to?

I had actually read that post before I posted that game.

I don't consider an entire game to be a conditional move or a plan for the future. Especially when 12. Kb1 was played instead of e5 as in the game I posted.

Mr. chess was questioning the soundness of Bxb5 so I thought I would post an example.

I think it is when you show what a GM did in an analogous position. White's team could just start using Tal's ideas. Which is fine for CC, but a bit against the 'team' idea.

But no big deal. I wasn't very clear in my request.

Come on Black team! We've had over seven hours to find a reply to Nd6+, surely one of you is brave enough to risk making a move?
