1. Rhp Name and Rating
2. Why you want to get to 1600
3. How many games are you currently playing and on average how many minutes do you spend on each move?

4. Have you read my Need help getting to 1400 theard and read all websites and followed all my advice? Answer truthfully.

5. Look at 5 of your recent loses and tell my why you lost each one?

Post the anwers here so we can compare. Plus I'm only allowed 10 PM's in 24 hours. I love the life of a non-sub 🙂

1.CMSMaster (My name's Chris 😉 ) currently rated 1508
2.Who doesn't want to improve?
3.Over 40, too many, and if you check my profile you'll see I'm reducing it
4.I did, but I was over 1400 😉
5.Blunders, blunders, and blunders!

I may be an unfair candidate however, I've started analyzing moves more thoroughly, and am working on reducing my game load. Also my slow rating on Playchess is 1673 (albeit provisional). Basically if I analyze like I have started to, and reduce the game load I'll be up to 1600 shortly (Plus I have an opponent stalling out two wins for me >🙁 ) However, I think even if I am a 1600+ player on some sites any advice will still help my chess out.

1. YUG0slav, 1546 (but lower otb)
2. my goal is to one day reach 1900-2000, and 1600 comes before both those numbers
3. 4-6 games at a time (like I have a choice) and I have spent up to 40 min on a single move (mostly middlegame, my opening play is much faster) but the average is 1-5 min.
4. went over it, but I was still over 1400 when I read it.
5. a few game losing blunders, and disregard for many lessons that I've learned.

I feel that i am a low 1600 player now although my rating may say that i'm not. i just recently came from a 1550 rating and i noticed that the one part of my game is that i didn't drop pieces even though it happened once every 40 games or something like that. i learned that my middlegame improved as i read pawn structure by andrew soltis and sometimes i would put the pieces of the puzzle toegether with things i learned in the past but didn't really understand then. i'm 18 and i have a low 1600 rating although i can't always keep it above there. my goal is at least 1800 and if i made it to 2000 i'd be happy as a clam. the reasons i lost my last few games were because i played people 1700 or near there that just outplayed me and beat the hell out of me.

I'm trying really hard to get to 1600 but everytime I think I'm doing it my opponent goes and gives me a piece so I end up winning again.

How can I stop my opponents just dropping their pieces?

I am sure if I can somehow do this then I will get there!:'(

Did you read my Need help getting to 1400 thread and follow my advice? Be honest.

I looked at one of your games yesterday and I know you didn't for that game and that's why you lost.
