I don't like 13. ... Qg6 for black. Probably loses after 14.Qxf5+ Qxf5+ 15.Rxf5+ Kg6 (or Ke6) 16.Bxh8 Kxf5 17.Rf1+ or 16. ... Bg7 17.Bxg7 Kxf5 18.Rf1+. Material is even but black is totally undeveloped.
It is not clear to me wether 13. ... Bc5 14.Kh1 helps black or not. I would think not
So only remaining option is the line (or variations on that) we have been discussing starting with 13. ... Qxe5. I am already going to look at various lines after 14.Qh5+: where to put the black king.
one Qxe5 variation that I haven't seen discussed..
13...Qxe5 14. Qh5+ Ke7 15. Rad1
This line looks clearly winning for white to me. Black is forced to trade his queen for a rook, and the knight on the f-file can't hold. White woud have a developed rook, knight, and queen attacking black's virtually undefended and open king.
What am I missing?

You guys must be very good. I believe in white's chances but unlike you, I fail to see a forced win yet. Resigning now as black would be absurd in my humble opinion.
Originally posted by Dragon FireAfter QxB 14.Qh5+..Ke7 15.Rxf5..Qd4+ 16.Kh1..d6 17.Re1+ the threat is mate with the queen on e8, which can only be stopped by giving up the black queen. 1-0
OK I concede it is not really time to resign (I was being sarcastic) but white certainly has the best of it.
Black must play QXB. I don't think there is anything else.
edit - I realize in DF's line the Q checks again on g5 Which is better. Just posting a line I was looking at. 16..d6 is not as good as 16..Kd8, which is the reason for the in-between 15.Qg5+. This took for ever to make sense to me... and maybe Im still wrong :-)
