It's some sort of site bug: Thread 86108
And, please, count me in, as soon as the problem is fixed (I hope soon).
While we had some time off we made some changes.
* We added more than 5,000 problems to our database to solve.
* We classified our problems into (1) basic problems for beginners, such as mate in one, mate in two, or simple mates with major and minor pieces; (2) tactical problems; (3) advanced problems; and (4) endgame problems. Students will be able to request which type of problems they will be solving.
* This means we will be able to print pdf files for beginners problems, tactical problems, and the more complex endings separately!! A pdf just for tactics; a pdf just for endings!! Or a massive pdf of thousands of games in a single files.
* News alerts!
* Sticky Notes!
* And even a player interface in case RHP goes down for an extended period of time. There are other ideas we may be working with -- maybe allowing students to practice with each other. This is something impossible to do on RHP. We have no intention of leaving RHP. It's a great site.

How would you like to receive personal chess training for free?
I've been working with friends on the idea. At present, I'm rated about 2100. Of course, I want to pass the 2200 mark. That is my immediate goal.
But getting there is hard. It takes a lot of time reading and learning how to recognize many different patterns. Reading from a book ca ...[text shortened]... move your name from the list. Let me know too, if you are interested in helping others.[/b]
We setup a simple forum for discussing compositions, studies, and positions taken from grandmaster games. Other topics also available. www.personalchesstrianing.com
We also have boards available for discussion about RHP and chessvideos.tv that you may not want to discuss on their forums.
Play through many grandmaster games that use critical endgame devices to win!

i can only get the top 20, how do i do the rest of the people?
It will show you the top 73 right now. There are more than 30 than have joined, but who have not moved yet. Also, if they join and have their rating limit set not to accept games with players above 2000 they will not appear. If they have a game limit set they will not appear on this list either.
Students ratings range from 900 to 2300; however, players with lower ratings are less likely to complete the problems.
These problems are not easy to solve.
P.S. Be sure to check out our forum. It is designed to be one of the largest on the net. If you don't find a category or message board there that fits your needs then we will create it!!

if youd like a testimonial from my experience it would be-
endgames always would scare me, and learning them from books just isnt realistic. coming here was a good choice as i learned many new endgame positions in a short time and actually feel like someday i will be a good endgame player, thanks for the confidence boost through knowledge! 🙂
One of my biggest concerns now is how to break-down the ideas of discussion about the openings on the forum. We're really not concerned with opening on the training site, but it is still a popular topic of discussion.
What are your ideas of how we should organize this forum in relation to opening study? www.personalchesstraining.com
Too, I don't want to step on any toes. We are dependent on redhotpawn to provide a place to practice and work through these problems together. We only want to provide additional space for discussion about these issues.
Originally posted by petrovitchI think that the initial organisation is good: dividing in king's, queen's pawn , hypermodern and irregular openings. Then inside of each one we should insert he relevant opening. One doubt I have: imagine that I wanted to start a discussion on the KID, should all variants be in the same thread or should different threads for different variants should be made?
