im sure you have enough applicants already...

any chance of having some strong players select a few games, or a few positions for others to look at, and run over in CB8? i'd love to see some of these flashy end game's everyone's talking about.

also, is there any possibility of a mass game? say 2 strong players x 4 weaker ones, with analysis?

even one or two of said games with analysis by both teams could provide very valuable insight as to the differences in thought process between weak and strong players.

Just hoping for a piece of the action, no matter how far away it is
🙂

They're usually not flashy, but they are practical, interesting and instructive. They're mostly endgames you can believe would actually occur.

any possibility of seeing these games with notation? would be great to play through some of these, or run some analysis on them, see some differing play vs. strong player's and find out how they think.

http://www.personalchesstraining.com/

EDIT: I don't know if you can find games with notation there though...I am not even sure if you can find more than the starting positions.

yea, i'm checking out the site, not very navigable...where is the signup button? lol...

guess i'm retarded... i'll keep reading to see what i can find out...but havn't found any games from here with notation, like say a teacher's notation vs a students...

it would be huge to go through and see what each player was thinking behind each move...see what variations they believe they're going to get...

i wouldn't mind signing up for both, if their is someone beneath me, i'd teach, if someone above, i'll learn. I'm sure the latter isn't hard to find. 😀

I have added you to our list of students; be sure to check your personal settings. If the number of games you are playing has reached the limit you will not receive problems from us until your game limit is lower than the maxium; also check your rating limit to allow for players above 2000.

We will begin with 5 simultaneous games of mate in one and 1 advanced endgame. If you can handle the mate in one problems faster then let me know. You need to go through about 300 of these; they help in pattern recogniton and problem solving.

Also if you add me to your buddy list it may solve a lot of problems with your personal settings.

Thanks for your interest. Our students have already solved more than 10,000 problems in our study group on this site. All of our games will be played on redhotpawn.

Petrovitch, I think I hate you. 😛

I am playing one of your students, we got into a rook and pawn endgame. He told me how much more comfortable he feels in these because of you're training...and I think I've just lost that game. 🙁
