Hello,
Yes, I have analysed the Jackal Attack extensively. The latest research is to be found in e-book format at the site given by the previous commentator.
There are several highly interesting lines in the Jackal. The analysis has moved on a lot from my preliminary article in 'New In Chess' and the opening has been used successfully by strong players of up to
elo2500 - including three very recent wins [one last week; Rutter - Morgan May 2008 Shropshire- Cambridge ENG can be played through on the jackal website].
There is also a very interesting related gambit for Black in a variation of what I refer to as the 'Lebel Variation': This has been left open in the e-book so that readers can freely examine its merits.
Regards,
'detective'

Ill just post a bunch of statistics from several databases I have access to:

----------------------------

ChessGames.com

KGD: 2...d5 (best response for KGD)
KGA: 3...g5, 3...d5, 3...d6, 3...h6 (all give fair chance to black and/or draw)

Redhotpawn.com (1900+)

KGD: 2...d5
KGA: 3...g5

Master Games (from rhp)

KGD: 2...d5
KGA: 3...g5, 3...d5, 3...Nf6, 3...d6

Gameknot.com (1600+)

KGD: 2...d5
KGA: 3...g5

World Database (from gk- 1900+ games)

KGD: 2...Bc5, 2...d5
KGA: 3... g5

-------------------------------------

In summary the above databases which contain OTB and CC games show that for KGD 2...d5 is the best and for KGA 3...g5 or 3...d5 are the best replies.
