Oh I thought you were having another go at Dragon Fire
If they do fix the blitz thing then you can be assured that Mr Fire and Mr Smaug will have nowhere to hide. Currently they are hiding behind the fact that they only play subs even if they are 1500s. Please.....

Who remembers our friend rated about 1700 or 1800 who would have gazillions of open invites all targeting 1400s and below? Because some of those he played were provisionals rising or even people whose game load has made their rating drop but are still stronger than 1400, he would lose. Our friend would immediately accuse his 400 rated player below him of cheati ...[text shortened]... ng that his rating is artificially inflated and if he played 1600s to 1800s he would be whacked.
Seeing as it's practically IMPOSSIBLE to inflate one's rating here when playing opponents rated 400+ below.
Originally posted by ShinidokiYou did the maths wrong as my score is 95.78% (77 wins and 5 draws from 83 games). Based on the average rating of my opponents being about 1450 (as I am wary about playing the Grob against stronger opposition, sticking to 1.e4 as a general rule against anyone rated above 1600) my expectation of a win is 95.95%.
77 W out of 83 --- if I did the math correct (77/83*100) thats a winning average of 92.77%
out of interest do you have any idea what, according to rating, it should be?
I am therefore spot on expectations.

Follow the earlier conversations between Mr Smaug, Mr Fire and myself.

There is a simple solution to his dilema, become a subscriber (only £15), join a clan and issue some clan challanges against me and SS - I am sure we would be able to accept them, assuming at the time we are available for clan games. Alternatively enter some tournaments with us in or try the league.
I don't assume SS is trying to avoid me simply because I have never played him.

Mr Smaug made me come out of my chess holiday (I planned to resume playing in September) by claiming he could win against me with 200 games going. My offer of 3/7 was too generous and I have withdrawn this. I would only play Mr Smaug at 1/0 while has 200 or more games going.
