Indeed. A 2-0 deficit is huge. He's going to need everything in his psychological arsenal not to come unglued after these two performances. Kramnik supporters must be feeling very good right now.

Topalov missed a win when he played Qg6+ instead of Rxg4+ Things are not going very well for him.

Thanks for that! I had to continually update it, but I was able to keep up with it at least.

But they do crash. That is more than a little annoying.

I think Topalov should do what he does best. Not missing moves would be nice too.

Doctor plus cook equals big advantage which leds to the 2-0.

Forget all these seconds and stuff, bring your own Cook and enjoy your food 🙂

What do the seconds do anyways besides help plan and prepare.

To me it sounds like if you can't play, the second takes over.

I am definitely rooting for Topalov, but I'm not really all that disapointed with what's going on so far. Obviously 2-0 is a large lead, and it's unlikely that Topalov can come back from this, the first game was completely drawn and he was completely crushing Kramnik in the second game. Another impressive thing to note is that Topalov was able to get the kind of positions that he likes against Kramnik: Sharp, complicated struggles that favor the courageous and the tactically aware. Maybe early nerves are getting to Topalov. Hopefully he will strike back in the second half like he's done before or clean it up even faster. No one likes a blowout! At the very least we've had some exciting chess so far!

What a terrible loss for Topalov! He had a winning attack and missed several chances. I can't see how when he analyzes this game it will do anything but severely shake his confidence. Again Kramnik's technique in the end game is impeccable; it seems that if Topalov is to win any games, he will have to do it with a successful middle game attack.
