I keep getting hammered by brilliant moves. Not all of them are easily notable either.

Look at this.. absolutely brilliant.

Game 3330343

Any advice?

Add perpetual checks to your list of things to watch out for!

.. i saw the perpetual check, just a little too late, i took the bishop as a safety thing, i felt the draw might just be advantageous for me.

It's still early in the morning so maybe I'm not seeing something here but why is this a drawn game. Black is up a Knight and two pawns and I see no perpectual check against the Black King.

Nothing brilliant here, just a reasonably played KGA that white should have won before recklessly conceding a draw with a few inaccurate moves.

20. cd probably kept the advantage for white whereas 30. ... QXB is definately a mistake if black still hopes to win although in such an open board with the queens still on a draw (by perpetual check) is always the most likely outcome even if 1 side has a significant material advantage.
