Banana King tries to intercept the Leaper but is far too slow. He does however manage to catch up to the man who is jogging along, following the trail of bent grass. As Banana King approaches the man lifts a large egg he had been carrying and drinks from a hole in it. His body is drenched in sweat, and he's breathing heavily. He then splashes some of the clear liquid contents on himself before turning to greet Banana King. He also has a wooden spear.
"Ho friend. Chase me animal. Good food." He grins. "Come!"
And he begins to jog off again in the blistering heat.
Iamatiger and the Leaper continue to dodge and weave through the grass, quick as lightning. Unfortunately iamatiger can never manage to get a claw into the Leaper, nor can he get ahead of it to channel it's motion back to the hunter.
Eventually, both Leaper and iamatiger are exhausted, dehydrated and panting desperately. The air feels like it's on fire in the tiger's lungs as he walks on, pursuing the limping Leaper at a walk. He feels as though he may pass out any second. The Leaper heads for some shade and stands still for a moment, watching iamatiger carefully.
It is a magnificent beast, large and powerful, with a majestic crown of horns on it's head.
[b][i]A dizzy spell hits iamatiger for a moment. He loses vision for a moment and falls down into the grass. When his vision clears, he hears the sound of human footsteps. The human hunter jogs up to the Leaper with his spear. The Leaper staggers to it's feet, but that magnificent crown of horns is heavy and bulky. It has a hard time lifting it's head and when it does the horns get stuck in some branches.
The human hunter calmly walks over to the exhausted Leaper and stabs it in the heart with a wooden spear. He doesn't seem to notice iamatiger, but in the shape he's in the tiger could not defend himself.
The sun blazes down on everyone.
The hunt is kind of like this:
As the man performs a quiet ritual over his prey, his friends come. They also have spears, and they are much less friendly than the runner was. They shout and brandish their spears when they see the Banana Clan humans and move in to defend the kill.
White King is Banana King. White Queen is iamatiger. Black Queen is the Leaper. Black Pawns are the three friends. Black Bishop is the runner.
