Skepticism is not a claim. Either he can prove it with a reputable source of info or he cannot. So far he has failed. I think he is just a gossip queen that cannot back it up.

If you said "I believe what he says might be wrong" then, with the operative word 'might', that is skepticism. But that's not what you said. You said "I don't believe him" which is your implicit claim what he says IS wrong. That's a claim no matter how you spin it.
So, what is the source of your information that he is wrong?
