Rattlesnakes can be dangerous right?

While grizzly bears can and do fight, and sometimes those fights are fatal, they don't always fight to the death. Fights are often over territory, mating rights, or food, and can end with serious injuries, but not always death. If a bear is defending its cubs or food source, it may be more likely to fight to the death.
...[text shortened]... have Grizzly bears here in Nova Scotia but they have them out west and in British Columbia.

Both are dangerous snakes, but unless you step on them or put your hand somewhere their at I’ve never had an issue with them coming at me. I did come across two big ones under some firewood I was moving away from the house since it was summer, killed one and was aggregating the other with a rake by pushing it around and it finally did get mad and came at me. It couldn’t get to me and then it got away, very aggravating. I’ve never been to Canada but it does look very beautiful.

@mike69,

I think I would rather wrestle a baby cub bear than mess with a Rattlesnake, well not anymore at my age...LOL... I would leave that to you as you seem to have had experience with them. πŸ˜‰

Not really, I just like the rush. It was around midnight (cooler and quieter than daytime) with no light except the moon and like a 10 by 12 foot area since I didn’t have room to get around it. . A momma bear can literally rip your body apart and run pretty fast so that’s a no for me😁. Have a good night.

@mike69,

I found a story you may enjoy and find hard to believe.

A 72-year-old man fought off and killed a grizzly bear that attacked him while he was picking huckleberries in Montana. Jul 20, 2024.

You don't want to be around when mama bear comes around you are absolutely right, if caught your only chance would be to play dead. Hope for the best!!!

That's fine if you didn't have the memory of a sock.

@Ghost,

And you the memory of a rock so what might you point be except getting involved where it doesn't concern you. You are beginning to appear like an internet bully.
