If 100 people walk 100 different roads but only one road leads to the desired destination...

The the person who walked to the correct destination do so because he walked? The other 99 walked the same distance but did not arrive at the desired destination. Obviously it was not because he walked.

But if the man on rhe correct road did not walk would he arrive at the destination?

So although simply walking does not get you there you are still required to walk.

You are required to walk the right road.

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same, 10

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back. 15

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. 20

Only a few shall find that narrow road. The few who find it are the ones, of all religions, and all nations, that see Christ
- an hungred, and fed him,
- thirsty, and gave him drink:
- a stranger and took him in,
- naked, and ye clothed him
- sick, and visited him,
- in prison, and came unto him.

Everyone else is on the broad road to destruction.

Given that only one out of a hundred are doing so, clearly you a not required to do any such thing. I'll pick the road I like, thank you, not whatever road you think is the 'right' road.

I thought you said all you had to do is believe in Jesus Christ.

Assuming the correct destination is the same for all 100 people, if only 1 chose the correct road then clearly someone should have made the roadsigns a little clearer.

This thread was meant for christians who believe that we do nothing in salvation.

Jesus is the road we must walk. Without Jesus our walking does nothing.

Jesus Christ did make the roadsigns crystal clear. It is the Christians that have come along and placed their graffiti on what was clear, and muddied the entire doctrine and in the process fooled many a gullible person.
