I think it has far more to do with the incredible set of "rules" Islam pushes on their adherents. It just appears that muslims are far more "invested" in their religion because they put far more effort into not violating the rules. Christianity doesn't have that many "rules"; Judaism has far more than Christianity does.
Christianity has just as many rules, you just choose to ignore them. The Rat calls this being 'mature'. You called it knowing better.
I have to say that Islam although generally less varied than Christianity (possibly due in part to its younger age), does have variation and there are Muslims that are quite relaxed about the rules. There are equally plenty of Christians that do have very strict rules.
I personally know a Christian denomination that doesn't allow instruments in Church. Also the member of that denomination that I know has an aversion to 'cussing' because he sees it as very unChristian.

Yeah, but the new moonshiners are almost industrial now, huge tanks and distillers, like 1000 gallon tanks and such, stainless steel buried in the ground. There was a recent documentary on the history channel about them.

thats not an art form, that old guy surveyed three sites before he chose one, made sure he had the right water, he built a still out of copper and then built a stone furnace thing around it, chose the correct type of wood so that it would not give off too much smoke etc controlled the flow of evaporation and condensing just to get the correct balance. Those big industrial things are grotesque monsters compared to that.

Yes, it was an official declaration by President Chiluba for political reasons and following presidents and politicians have maintained it (despite complains by leading Christian organizations).

No examples present. Should also say "clothing" does not only mean the burqa but also the hijab.
