@divegeester
Are you going to define my trinity teaching like I asked you many times - yes or no?
I expect no is the answer but you're too (something-or-other) to admit it. Better leave it vague and general.
Fantastic checkmate question you have there, leaving terms. vague. Leave it vague and general and undefined ... "my trinity teaching" and imagine yourself to be some skillful debater.
And I think you should stop lying that you are tired of hearing me when it seems obvious that you relish following my threads and interjecting this question with loads of sickening self appreciation.
Readers, what is more important do you think?
The doctrine of God or God Himself ?
If you have only the doctrine of God but won't receive God, the doctrine has replaced the Person in your life to the point of being an idol.
I think what Divegeester's so called checkmate question is designed to do is kind of maneuver Christians who talk about what the Bible reveals about the Father-Son-Holy Spirit to be their idol. That is doctrine just has to be their idol.
He seems obsessed with this tactic to the point that it is a fall back nostalgic moment for him in the midst of completely OTHER subjects in which he is being exposed as having questionable interpretations.
Did anyone recall Divegeester answering me on whether non-existence by definition means under the wrath of God?
If anyone recalls him answering me this please see if you can recall where you saw his answer.
Exactly how his evasion of that question prompted him to a fall back on asking about my trinity teaching is not clear to me, unless it is just blatant sentimentality.
The New Testament says that anything besides the Father and the Son should not become an idol. In other words the Father and Son are the God and final reality (with the Spirit ( John 16:13; 14:17; 1 John 4:6; 5:6)). And nothing should replace God to be an idol.
Where does it say this? It says so in the First Epistle of John.
" And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we might know Him who is true; and er are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Little children, guard yourselves from idols." (1 John 5:20,21)
If you read the passage very carefully you should see that the true God is the the Father and the Son in whom we must be IN. In - as in a "organic" and life relationship - in Him who is true.
Him who is true, Him who is the reality is the being in Him and in His Son. That is being in the Father and the Son. That is being in the Trinity.
Guard yourself from idols. Guard yourself from anything replacing or usurping the preeminence of Him, His Son, and being IN God.
"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we might know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God and eternal life.
LIttle children, guard yourselves from idols." (1 John 5:20,21)
To anyone: (who is not proudly apathetic, that is )
Will my rejection of your trinity teaching in any way preclude me from being spirit filled and therefore from being saved?
If you will not define my teaching of the trinity then show how my teaching of the trinity is different from what the Bible teaches.
@dj2becker
Notice some guys keep saying this or that speaks "volumes" about one or says "loads" about one.
I think it means that their minds are filled with loads and volumes of imagined conspiracy theories.
@sonship saidNobody has sought to frame dj2becker's attempt to conflate "handicapped people" with "hatred and bitterness" - for the purposes of forum banter - as any kind of "conspiracy".

No definition is required as this is a matter of outcome irrespective of definition.
If you are unsure about your salvation on a very personal level then you should pray and take this up with God.
There is nothing constructive about you going to find someone to blame for this.
Why don’t you stop throwing up smoke screens and just answer the question, my eternal life could be at stake, anyone’s eternal life could be at stake!
If you are unsure about your eternal redemption, you should take this matter up in prayer with the Triune God. Don't look for a trinitarian to blame.
Calling on the mighty name of Jesus with a fully opened heart is effective. Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved - that is believing in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead. See Romans 10.
If me, someone, anyone...rejects outfight your teaching/ doctrine of the trinity, will they in anyway be precluded from salvation?
If someone does not have the Son he does not have the Father either, so says the New Testament.
"Everyone who denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who confesses the Son has the Father also." (1 John 2:23)
You know this is the longest continuation of a chess game after a supposed checkmate I have ever seen.
Receive the Son and receive the Trinity and you will be saved, even if you don't talk about the more involved aspects of the mysterious nature of God.
This is a simple yes or no answer but it i
t could be external life saving...why won’t you be unequivocal I wonder?
I think I have been very practical. Winning a doctrinal argument is not important. Assurance of salvation is. And if you believe God raised Jesus from the dead and confess Jesus as Lord, you will be saved. See the whole chapter of Romans 10.
This is more dishonest deflection by you. The “definition “ of your version is irrelevant and you know it. This is a matter of principle and you are not bearing up well.
You're can have your opinion.
How do you like this quite clear verse ?
Everyone who denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who confesses the Son has the Father also. (1 John 1:23)
I Love that verse. It shows it is a matter of HAVING a living God, a living mysterious "Person" - the Father and the Son.
This is a good verse to recommend to someone wanting to receive salvation in God and be assured of this.
I know for a fact that you will never answer the question and I, and you...both know why you won’t answer it don’t we sonship.
Do you have any insight into why you will not answer a question I put to you?
If to abide under the wrath of God is to be non-existent, then is everyone who has not been born and doesn't exist abide under the wrath of God? Per [b]"He who believes into the Son has eternal life; but he who disobeys the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him." (John 3:36)
Do you have any insight as to why you won't give me a simple Yes or No to that question ?
Do you yet understand why my question is a checkmate question?
lol. You'd LOVE for me to beg you to explain it, wouldn't you?
Perhaps you wish to blame your lack of assurance of salvation on trinitarian concepts. But you should not seek Christians who speak of the three-oneness of God to blame for this. You should take up your uncertainty on a very personal level in prayer with God, especially calling on the name of the Lord Jesus.
Are you willing to enter into my side agreement, whereby I will give you my word that I will answer unequivocally to any question you put to me IF you will give me an unequivocal answer to mine?
Are you?
I have a better idea. You go back over the last number of years and find all the posts in which I wrote to a definite reply to your question whether you liked it or not. And will see if there is any inconsistency.
At this point I'd be interest to review the seven or eight times I replied with an intention to put the matter to rest.
I remember off hand saying such things as:
1.) You don't have to understand that much to be saved.
2.) You don't have to be that conversant on the nature of God in order to be saved by Him.
3.) I doubt that you could not be saved just because you do not use each and every kind of explanation or expression I use about the Trinity.
4.) Jesus taught His disciples that they will make mistakes as to who is a real Christian and who is not in Matthew 13. So don't look to me to be infallible about detecting who is and who is not.
These are some of the things I recall telling you over the years.
I haven't changed.
@fmf saidAsking you whether the reason of your bitterness is not maybe because you are handicapped doesn't mean that I believe all handicapped people are bitter even if you try to twist my question to mean that as part of your trolling.
