Where did divegeester suggest that twhitehead is "scum"? Isn't "scum" a word you have introduced and not divegeester?

You asked me what definition I wanted to use. I gave one. Now you are dissatisfied that I gave an answer as that doesn't fit with your 'your trolling' claim.
As for the second part it wasn't a definition I disagreed with, it was a claim. I do not believe that reproduction is inherently selfish behaviour.

The divegeester I know has always been this ridiculous when we have a discussion because for some reason my logic rubs him the wrong way.

You claim that you support the Wiki definition but don't accept the qualification around "selfish" parenting from Wiki - and this is my point. Your own parenting comes from a place of self interest not altruism. Wiki disagrees with you, I disagree with you.
