My opinion of that is God does not care about labels: atheist, Christian, Jew, Gentile etc. Gods only interest is how we live. In explaining to the Jews that they are not superior Paul said:

[i]For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision ...[text shortened]... e special by virtue of their monopoly on Christ, but the inward man is what is important to God.
My, my.

I wonder where you learned of this passage? Never mind, I know.

Really? The bible which you claim you believe in is full of explinations and examples by all of God's people on "how to be a christian". Seriously doubt there is nothing I or anyone could ever explain to you that is not right in front of your eyes in the Bible that you probably claim you've read.
Pray to god for guidence.....

Eph 4:22-24:

"22 You were taught to put away the old personality that conforms to your former course of conduct and that is being corrupted according to its deceptive desires. 23 And you should continue to be made new in your dominant mental attitude, 24 and should put on the new personality that was created according to God’s will in true righteousness and loyalty.
25 Therefore, now that you have put away deceit, each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, because we are members belonging to one another. 26 Be wrathful, but do not sin; do not let the sun set while you are still angry; 27 do not give the Devil an opportunity. 28 Let the one who steals steal no more; rather, let him do hard work, doing good work with his hands, so that he may have something to share with someone in need. 29 Let a rotten word not come out of your mouth, but only what is good for building up as the need may be, to impart what is beneficial to the hearers. 30 Also, do not be grieving God’s holy spirit, with which you have been sealed for a day of releasing by ransom.
31 Put away from yourselves every kind of malicious bitterness,+ anger, wrath, screaming, and abusive speech, as well as everything injurious. 32 But become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, freely forgiving one another just as God also by Christ freely forgave you."

Sad that you resorts to 4 letter words. I bet you'd use them to Jesus's face if given the chance if he didn't agree with you...
I knew it was a waste of time posting on your thread. One can't change who they are if it's grounded in their hearts to hate.

Some minds are like concrete, all mixed up, hard and dense 😀

As for fits of anger and the use of expletives, well, the works of the flesh are manifest,

Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, Galatians 5:20

Its interesting to note that peoples posts are more a reflection of them than the people they seek to vilify.

Well he'd hardly speak modern English 2,000 odd years ago, so clearly it must have been an older form.

In school, I remember we had some poems in OLD English that I could not tell what the heck was being said. It was like a foreign language to me, yet the English teacher expected us to decipher the meaning of it all.

2,000 years ago the closest there was to English would have been Old Frisan. Which would not be understandable to a modern English speaker, or for that matter one from the Middle Ages.

It's not straightforward to decipher. I don't know what your teacher was thinking. It's like expecting a modern Italian speaker to understand Latin.
