I think perhaps FMF and yourself have missed the point. It was not about 'heroics' and was not even about me saying afterward "Look FMF, I defended you in Debates." (He was 'literally' unaware that I had done so). It was the demonstration that he asked for that I stand by friends when they are not around to defend themselves. I do that on and off the forum and will continue to do so.
I know what you mean Ghost, about defending.

The atmosphere in this thread generated by the two posters that habitually twist the meaning out of the context and intent of those they are ideologically and spiritually biased against has, in my opinion, prompted suzianne to mention and infer that GB was treated in a most despicable way, and was a contributing factor in why GB left the thread, and may well have contributed to his ill health issue, as GB was a kind and gentle soul that didn't deserve to be vilified so virulently in this forum as he was.

What goes around comes around.

Grown-ups can have more than one friend.

Try it.

Sorry but I don't buy into the whole GB thing, linking his interactions here to his ill-health. That is not something we could possibly know or should speculate on. GB always stuck me as a robust chap who rather enjoyed the cut and thrust of the forum and handled himself better than most.

At last, after years of Suzianne regularly insinuating and suggesting that I had a hand in another poster's desth, you have decided to say something. And, oh... wait. Ah yes, it's not Suzianne you say it to. You say it to someone else. Not to Suzianne. You say it to someone just echoing it. Someone you have expressed your contempt for. But now you have at last got it off your chest, it seems, without having to confront the perpetrator.

Save them for people who naively believe you.
Believe me about what? Don't worry, you can make the most vile accusation you can possibly think of, Ghost of a Duke is not going to csll you out for it.

But didn't all this supposedly happen before you became active in the forums?

I seem to recall the word 'naive.'
Yes, I said that, although I thought you struck me as naive because you thought that nobody on the internet would ever manipulate someone else via private messages, I said I thought your attitude and loyalty was a virtue and even a strength.

Of course. I apologize for using your post as a springboard.

But the whole affair makes me ill thinking about it and I'm in good health. GB was old and frail, and had health issues. He gave of himself from his heart the contributions of his faith and was mercilessly attacked for it by the forum scamps that trolled him endlessly and incessantly till he buckled.

Relatively recently, you were asked this:

"I would like to hear from anyone other than Dive, FMF and Ghost what happened to Grampy Bobby. I hear he may have stopped posting here because he was ridiculed for his beliefs. Can anyone verify this?"

This was your answer:

"Nothing happened to GB."

Shaming others is one of the unscrupulous methods you employ in your efforts to squelch the truth with spiritual deception.

Jot that down for future reference.

If you weren't so busy finding ways to misrepresent and twist the meaning and intent of others you would have understood the sarcasm bully boy.

I have the same feelings for you as you do for me.

Jot that down for future reference.
