I once had a summer job at an establishment that sold white rats to be used in experiments. They were perfectly decent little animals, and made good pets. That didn't stop the humans from doing the experiments, at the end of which the rats were usually "sacrificed."

It's just a story to make a point.
All life is. I mean who would want to be reincarnated again ? Not me

of course I wouldn't lay out my personal belief system in a public forum but you can catch bits and pieces in my posts. I have the same face at home or when I'm out
As I said, Jesus is the Way, you can find your own and you will end up where your way
takes you.

I mean it works for me as I understand the word 'work' spiritually.

This is just mindless doctrine . You have 0 clue as to whether I would be in good stead with jc

If you are, its under His terms, not your own way.

What does the word “work” mean to you spiritually?

You seem to be just using words with not explaining the substance behind it.

I am pointing out the obvious! What you trust in is either going to be both solid and reliable or not. You know what why?

Consider replacing “trust” by “reasonably predict.”

Do I have to spell it out. I live my life righteously and do good works based on my knowledge and capabilities.
I really dont see what needs explaining

In your OP which I was replying to you said

What do you mean by “works”?

Then you proceed to obfuscate and get prickly.
It was a simple question: how do you define “works” for you?

Now you are talking about “good works” rather than “works” as in effective for me, functions for me, works for me...

It’s your OP mate. Can you even hold two thoughts together in your head for longer than it takes to think of something else?

Means it's self-contained and self-evident in my life.
Also means it doesn't matter if you catch it or not, or whether I can even explain it properly .

Btw I'm not your 'mate' . No offence . I prefer 'bro'
