Jesus was the creator of everything. So he was there before Mary.
Mary was used by God to bring Christ into the world.
If she didn't accept God's wish to use her:1. he could have used someone else or 2. he could have just said forget it.

Would you mind not confusing Atheism , agnostism and scepticism with anti-Catholic bigotry.
There's a huge difference with no1 marauders objection to religious based laws and the garbage trashtalk of RBHill and Darfius. who have no qualms at all about religious based laws: as long as it's THEIR religion passing them.

The Bible Says in Ex. 20:5 not to bow to images and that is what Catholics do is bow to Mary, even if it is not worshiping her they still bow to her and that is a sin.
