@ghost-of-a-duke saidJust Adam’s sin? Where do you find that in scripture? We were turned into sinners due to Adam and set free by Jesus Christ from our sins. I don’t know of any verses that limit what Jesus did to justify us from Adam’s sins alone.
I'm a Johny come lately to this thread, but wasn't the atonement the divine remedy to original sin?
I have to see the justification for that doctrine!
@rajk999 saidOkay then not just Adam’s sin but all of mankind’s sins. The living righteously, you think that can be done without God in the life of any person?
Jesus died for the sins of all of mankind, so that those who live righteously will enter the Kingdom of God and who does not will be cast out.
@kellyjay saidSo you found my answer. God and Christ get to decide who lives righteously and do good works, and why and how they did it, and will reward them accordingly. Dont ask me again.

@rajk999 saidYou have not actually answered my question! You telling God will have the say who has lived a holy righteous life is not responding to can anyone live a holy righteous life without God.

Can you address the question asked please?
@kellyjay saidThat is the only answer you are going to get. People should not concern themselves with who they think has God and who they think has not. God decides who pleases him and they will be rewarded accordingly.

God is pleased with righteousness and good works, and according to Jesus Christ, those who do good works will enter the Kingdom of God.
You can continue to boast that YOU have the Spirit of Christ or Gods Spirit but that gets you nowhere.
@rajk999 saidIt doesn’t matter if people think someone has God or not. It matters if God has us, it matters if we have God’s Spirit who He gives to His own.

You don’t accept the scripture that talks about God’s Spirit as truth?
@dj2becker saidYou genuinely don't know his answer to this?!
Is the only way to be made righteous by works only, faith only or both?
@rajk999 saidIf you are not sinless what makes you righteous before God, isn’t a holy life clean before God. Are you saying God accepts sin? I am not sure what you mean! How does God give forgiveness by our earning it, or is it a gift!
Nobody is sinless. Many are righteous.
I dont understand your question.
