@kellyjay saidYou made no point or at least it is not clear. The issue is that you have stated that those who profess their faith are given Gods Spirit and then and only then, can they live out their lives doing the good works that God has for them. This in effect is saying that these people WILL DO GOOD WORKS.
You going to address the point or hint that there is an issue without identifying it?
My point is that there is no such statement in the bible.
You agreed.
Now you quote Peter .. for what purpose I cannot understand because Peter is not agreeing with you.
@rajk999 saidI agree that you need God’s Spirit, and if you don’t have God’s Spirit you don’t belong to God. I agree those that are lead by God’s Spirit are the sons of God. I agree that God gives His Spirit to those that belong to Him who ask for Him. I agree that when we are given God’s Spirit God has works for us to do.

You have been given plenty of scripture for these, and if asked you will receive them again. The only reason for a “only then” is without Him we can do nothing, we must abide in Christ!
@kellyjay saidYou are very confused.

@rajk999 saidOkay, sure, you think someone is in error before God and you refuse to assist when asked, is that your idea of good works? Please help me understand, show me my errors in scripture! Give a reason for the hope that is in you!
I dont need to clear up anything. You claimed something and then failed to provide support for it. Thats it.
@kellyjay saidAre you wilfully being dumb? There is nothing to help you understand. You said:

... that all who have the Holy Spirit or Gods Spirit etc, WILL live out their life doing good works.
There is no such doctrine in the bible.
There is nothing for me to tell you further.
@rajk999 saidActually I think you said that, I quoted scripture!

@rajk999 saidYour words not mine
Telling people that they will be led by the Spirit of God, or have the Holy Spirit, and they will live out their lives doing good works, if their accept Jesus is false church nonsense.
What that does to the gullible man is that everything he does after accepting Jesus is Gods will, its good works or if it is a sin it will be forgiven. It is all false teachings.
@rajk999 saidYour words not mine
You have repeatedly said about yourself the following:
- you have accepted Jesus
- you have Gods Spirit
- you will live out your life doing the good works God has for you to do
Now Jesus will judge whether or not you actually succeed in doing that.
Is it your contention that all who profess faith in Christ do good works?
@rajk999 saidYour words not mine
Im waiting. You are notorious for going into 'sonship' mode when challenged. You post voluminous irrelevant writings.
The issue is that Jesus never said that all who have the Holy Spirit WILL live out their life doing good works.
Please just one reference is fine.
