Every Christian poster in this forum understands and knows what the Bible teaches about the nature of God with the exception of Rajk, ToO and yourself.
The argumentum ad populum falacy never goes well as a reason to acceptva doctrine SecondSon.

Dear me.

Crying shame that this topic now has fallen into a rat hole, instead of staying on topic. I would have loved to hear both views on the links I gave for and against!
You may have noticed that this is my thread in which I’m calling out sonship for being a coward for not admitting that he agrees with the error I posted in the OP.

I suggest starting your own thread KellyJay and maybe stop being a whining cry baby.

Well, at least we know now for certain that divegeester doesn't have an honest intellectual bone in his body.

He asks a question. We give the answer. And without even checking the proof texts provided he spirals further down the rat hole dragging the thread and topic with him.
This is my thread SecondSon. And you haven’t answered the question. Here it is.

Are the 3 distinct personalities of your version of the Godhead co-equal. Yes or no?

Right!

Divegeester doesn't see himself in the light of the truth, and if and when he does it'll be an absolute shock in contrast to the heresy he now embraces.
I guess “the light of truth” happens to be what you say is truth.

@SecondSon

He reads the posts. Perhaps he's waiting until the question posed fades from everyone's memory.
THEN he resumes with others the challenge - "YES OR NO ??"

Strict with others.
Lenient on himself.

Exacting towards others.
Merciful on himself.
What question sonship?

I have a list of questions you won’t answer. Tell you what you start a thread offering to answer any question I give you with a yes or a no and I promise to do likewise.

Been here before haven’t we... I’m guessing this will be the end of this exchange on question challenges because you know what I’ll be asking you don’t you...

@divegeester

How come when you are asked a question in the same style as you interrogate others its usually - "Start a New Thread, and I PROMISE This or That" ?

ie. Move the goal post and make a new promise.
Its getting quite old.

Here you go. No need for NEW THREAD !

Divegeester, do you think that human language can perfectly describe God ?

Yes or No?

No need for "Start a NEW THREAD and I promise, I promise, I promise .... etc."

The biggest complaint I have .... sonship, who in particular, will deliberately avoid answering spot-on-target laser-focused binary response questions
- Divegeester

Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada.
Hypocrit - strict with others,
full of leniency with yourself.

I do that when you haven’t answered the question I’ve asked you probably several times and you would be then trying to change the subject.

Question ASKED 1rst time here:
Divegeester, do you think that human language can perfectly describe God ?

Yes or No?

If Yes - would you do so please for us?

If No - do you mind if some of us TRY, knowing that human language has its limitations. Our explanation of His nature will not be as perfect as God Himself is.

1. NO ANSWER HERE
You mock and yet you won't tell me.

Maybe I missed it.
2. NO ANSWER HERE EITHER
I guess you will never choose to reply.

I wonder why...

3. NO ANSWER HERE EITHER
Them, when we see "THEM" we all will know.

There THREE remember.

Well he's talking to SecondSon and KellyJay.
Ask Question again
DIvegeester, I'm shocked. You mean given a perfectly binary choice you are not going to CHOOSE Yes or No?

I thought you were the simplicity guy - break it down to either Yes or No.

How come its OK for you to be strict to hold other people to a choice but you hedge when its put to YOU?
I don't understand.

4. Does He answer here ??
Saying you answered when you didn’t is dishonest SecondSon.

PS have you read up on conflating metaphors with literalisms.

Nope. But he's talking to someone else.

5. What about HERE ??
Are you going to answer my question or just keep up slightly revolting mutual stroking session with SecondSon?

6. No answer there either.
What about his next post ?

It’s your silly belief sonship, not mine.

Are the 3 distinct personalities of your version of the Godhead co-equal. Yes or no?

7. NOPE.
What about his next post ??

No.

There you go. See it’s quite easy when you are not scared of your pet beliefs being exposed as the errors they are.

OKAY. At last.

Divegeester said NO. Thankyou. I missed it.
Human language according to Divegeester CANNOT (NO) perfectly explain God.

So then don't OVERESTIMATE your challenges to insist words Christians may use to describe God have some problems with their usage. You're not doing anything spectacular to point out the problems. So it could be problematic to use "distinct personalities" to attempt to speak of God's mysterious nature. We know that.
Are the 3 distinct personalities of your version of the Godhead co-equal.

Yes or no?

The phrase "three distinct personalities" has its limits, is not perfect, is not above being able to object to on SOME level.

Human language really cannot perfectly describe God - So admits Divegeester.

What an incredibly ignorant thing to say. The truth is what God says it is.

But for you "Truth" is just a metaphor obviously. Lord knows we won't be hearing you talking about God's truth except when you're channeling ToO, and in the case of your post above, FMF.

1. ...[text shortened]... OME level.

I answered No as soon as I saw it. What on Earth are you blithering on about!

If you have a question for me ask it or start an OP. Just spare us these long waffly posts about nothing.

By the way my “yes of no question challenge” remains open to you any time you feel ballsy enough 😉
