Based on my knowledge of the scriptures I find complete consistency from beginning to end.

The scriptures are both the revelation of God to man and through man. All scripture is given by inspiration. The words are both inspired and preserved, and should be viewed as progressive from start to finish.

Consider Acts 1:1
The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of ...[text shortened]... do and teach as recorded by Luke in his gospel, but after His resurrection and subsequent ascension.
My foundation rests upon the gospel preached by Jesus while He walked the Earth.

Your foundation rests upon a gospel preached by others.

If you believed the gospel preached by Jesus while He walked the Earth, you would not believe a gospel preached by others.

John 12
46 “I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness.
50 “I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”
48 “He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.

As I've said many a time, "I advocate for the gospel preached by Jesus while He walked the Earth".

You neither hear nor understand His words. The false gospel you follow has rendered you deaf and blind to His words.

John 8
43“Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. 44“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do t ...[text shortened]... e, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45“But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me.
I don't hear you, on what authority are the things you say meaningful? This Jesus you quote is who to me, who is He to God? You call my gospel false yet you cannot tell us about why the one you are representing has any meaning or power. You are just blowing smoke! When the Prophets of old or the Apostles would speak for God they would declare who it was they were speaking for, even Jesus identified who it was that sent Him. You are a whisper in the dark accusing those who give you the time of day, you cannot even tell us who Jesus is, only that some guy named Jesus spoke and you quote only a handful of verses from those things He has said in scripture. You ashamed of who you promote that you cannot tell us about Him?

The words Jesus spoke when preaching His gospel while He walked the Earth have "meaning AND power" in and of themselves.

Evidently you don't think they do. Why do you think that is?

What is odd is your inability to understand my straight forward answer.
Do you believe God torments those who are damned in a burning fire that lasts for eternity?

It's either a yes or a no.

You seem intent on not answering it.

I don't think you have a clue about anything you are talking about, from the scriptures you talk about, or the one you are quoting. Who is Jesus, why should I or anyone care about the one you whose words you keep quoting? If the only thing you can say is that this guy a very long time ago said some things you think are important, so what? What authority do you think you are invoking by quoting the scriptures?

I can tell you why the Jesus I talk about should be listened too, and I can tell you who He is, why He was sent here, and by whom. I can tell you the Jesus I worship and obey is worthy, I can tell you that the Jesus whose name I pray in, has a name above every other name.

You have not been able so say anything other than there is something magical about the words uttered by this guy you talk about, supposedly those words have both "meaning AND power" in and of the themselves. Is your Jesus a wizard, a magic user, a Jedi Knight, a Sith lord, the flying spaghetti monsters little brother what about this Jesus you are talking about makes Him worthy to be listened to?

Then it's true. Without knowing anything about other Christian posters in this forum you side with unbelievers in degrading, insulting and otherwise denouncing Christians based on your biases, prejudices and bigoted opinions.

Virtually all the Christians posting in this forum are in agreement with the basic fundamental doctrines of the faith, but you are not. In fact, you go out of your way to poke fun at the Christians posting here by aligning yourself with the naysayers and their posts.

There's no getting around it divegeester. It's no wonder you have no church family or Christian fellowship in your life. You're outside the veil of faith as demonstrated by your disgraceful and reprehensible conduct exhibited in your posts against Christians, especially when you do it with your so-called "friends".

You're quite the card ToO.

Jesus Christ is the foundation. It's clear you understand nothing about the gospel.

I'm certain you can't say what the gospel is. You just talk in circles.

It's clear you understand nothing about the gospel preached by Jesus while He walked the Earth.

According to the gospel preached by Jesus while He walked the Earth, the words Jesus spoke when preaching His gospel while He walked the Earth ARE the foundation.

My foundation rests upon the gospel preached by Jesus while He walked the Earth.

Your foundation rests upon a gospel preached by others.

Why is it so difficult for you to wrap your mind around this?

Matthew 7
24“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25“And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. 26“Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27“The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”

What basic fundamental doctrines of Christian faith are you and divegeester not in agreement about? Could you list them?
