I wonder if a similar approach can explain veganism. And Nascar. And Hollywood.

It can be said that a full frontal lobotomy would lead to fundamentalist atheism.

But it doesn't mean religious fundamentalism occurs only because of damage to the brain. What other things can be the result of damage to the brain?

Sounding right, does not mean 'proved right'.
After all, that is exactly what leads to religious fundamentalism.

Also causation is not equivalence.

Is that because God only exists in the mind?

"It's important to note this doesn't imply a belief in the supernatural is caused by brain damage; epistemology - or the act of forming a belief - involves a rich mix of neurological processes that cannot be limited to any single piece of brain tissue."

The study is inconclusive.

The truth is the spirit and brain matter are mutually exclusive. While the body, soul and spirit are inextricably linked, only the death of the body can separate the spirit and soul from the body, but an unregenerate spirit keeps one separated from God.

God exists everywhere, but atheism is a self induced delusion that exists in the mind of the one that fears accountability to his maker.

Don't take it personal Ghost, it's not meant as an insult. It has to be said. It's a matter of life and death.

A well established trend. Isn't there a reason?

Don't worry sir, I don't take your poor reasoning personally.

An atheist doesn't believe in God because they are unconvinced of His existence. An atheist doesn't became an atheist out of fear of something he doesn't believe in. That's just silly. - This of course has been explained to you numerous times and no doubt will require doing so again in the future.

Please don't take the above personally. It has to be said. It's a matter of intellectual growth.
